The Two Americas… Or the Few Have Nots
Investor’s Business Daily has an article in tomorrow’s issue about a recent poll asked to about 1000 Americans.
The question is “All things considered, do you consider yourself to be part of America’s haves or part of America’s have-nots?”
A whopping 75% of those polled said, ‘Haves.’
The trial lawyer with nice hair John Edwards has made “Two Americas” his campaign theme. It would be hard to place him in any category other than ‘haves,’ but it seems most Americans today think they are doing alright. I certainly am doing much better than 5 years ago and I suspect most others are too.
This is good news considering the shaky stock market and housing market.
